Canada Select awards the Crag with ***1/2s; Pets Can Stay follows suit with a Premium rating. Canada Select, Canada's ONLY national accommodations rating program for bed and breakfasts, cottages, hotels, motels, inns, resorts, and fishing/hunting lodges, gave Cougar's Crag a four and a half star rating in September, which will appear in the 2007 Accommodation Guide, Canada Select website and HelloBC (Tourism BC) website for the new season. This makes Cougar's Crag one of the highest rated B&Bs to allow dogs and one of the only ones to not require pre-approval, charge extra or allocate them (or their owners) to special accommodations.
Pets, Can Stay, the national certifying and marketing body that has established the standard for accommodation providers that cater to the pet travel market, also awarded us a PREMIUM rating, recognizing that we not only allow pets, but offer amenities just for them.
Pets play a large part in our lives and many people will not travel if they cannot bring them along. Cougar's Crag strongly believes in the importance of this market niche to tourism, especially to the region in which we are located.
